Julia Bearcroft is a photographer based in Penzance. Most of the imagery used for her work is inspired by nature and by finding objects indigenous to an area. This could be driftwood and stones found from a particular beach or fallen leaves and flowers from certain plants.
Julia gathers her objects and arranges them into a design then photographs them either on location or in a studio situation. Other works include photographs inspired by her surroundings.
